Why Was the Foundation Established?
Ahl Al-Sunnah Wal-Jamaah Charity Foundation was established in response to the community's need for an institution that integrates education, values, development, and community service within an organized, sustainable, and institutional framework. The idea of establishing the Foundation emerged from a number of important community needs, most notably:
- The need for structured programs for teaching the Holy Qur'an and Islamic sciences.
- Supporting the education of children and youth and developing their abilities.
- Enhancing the skills of teachers, preachers, imams, and community workers.
- Providing modern training programs in languages, technology, and vocational skills.
- Strengthening values, ethics, and positive identity among younger generations.
- Supporting families and the most vulnerable groups, while providing vocational and craft training.
- Creating an appropriate environment for educational, pedagogical, and social programs.
- Building bridges of cooperation between local and international institutions.
- Teaching Arabic, English, Thai, and Malay languages.
- Transforming charitable work from temporary individual initiatives into sustainable institutional work.
Accordingly, the Foundation was established to serve as a comprehensive center for educational, pedagogical, developmental, and community initiatives.
